BHP Billiton, New Mexico Coal is a global natural resources company, operating three surface mining operations and one underground operation in Northwest New Mexico.
JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
You will maintain/repair all surface mining equipment. Formal training and broad experience in technical analysis/troubleshooting of diverse equipment, and 1+ years' experience as a journeyman diesel mechanic maintaining surface mining equipment or heavy duty construction equipment is required. Knowledge of computer maintenance management systems is a plus.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Qualified candidates must possess a high school diploma/GED and a valid driver's license. Advanced vocational school or apprenticeship education preferred, strong written/verbal communication and team skills. Knowledge of risk awareness and hazard identification are preferred. Applicants will be required to successfully pass additional written and practical testing requirements to be considered for employment.
