CIVIL DRAFTSPERSON

Our client is a leader in civil engineering design work for road, rail and mining projects. Due to an increase in their workload, a position has become available for an experienced civil project draftsperson for the North Shore office.

Duties will involve civil drafting work associated with various infrastructure and mining related projects including precast structural, and reinforced concrete detailing using AutoCAD.

Previous experience in the preparation of project drawings, reviewing the progress of project drawings to meet specified deadlines, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Company drafting standards. Additional duties will include independent drawing checks as required by the engineering manager and assisting the Project Manager as required.

Minimum qualifications for the position will be either a Certificate in Civil Engineering or equivalent. A degree in civil engineering will also be acceptable.
