Our client is a leading mining contractor, offering an exciting opportunity in Southeast Queensland. The operation is seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Diesel Fitter to join a focused maintenance team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy an attractive 8 on 6 off FIFO roster. This role is the chance to enjoy city living or be based along Queensland's beautiful Sunshine or Gold Coast.

The successful applicants will have maintenance exposure with:

Underground Jumbos/ Drills Boggers Underground Dump trucks Other associated underground equipment It is essential that the candidate is:

A motivated self-starter Successfully worked in the mining industry before and has a demonstrated commitment to safety A minimum of 2-3 years experience in a similar environment will be highly regarded. To be successful in this role you will ideally have a demonstrated track record in underground mobile plant maintenance. This opening will offer the opportunity to expand you experience within an expanding underground operation.
