Rotation: 2 weeks in and 2 weeks out
As an integral member of the De Beers Canada, Victor team, you will be responsible to effectively operate the sort-house and recover diamonds from the recovery concentration.
The incumbent will be responsible for:
„hƒn Control and co-ordinate sort-house & cleaning process activities;
„hƒn Meet output requirements;
„hƒn Managing and controlling the diamond accounting systems;
„hƒn Evaluating, improving and implementing control systems and operating procedures;
„hƒn Prepare diamonds for dispatch.
Requirements:
„hƒn 1-2 years minimum experience in the sorting of diamonds;
„hƒn Diamond information management knowledge;
„hƒn Sieving and weighing competency;
„hƒn Diamond data reporting competency;
„hƒn Experience in cross-cultural (aboriginal) work environment;
