Summary Description of Duties: 5 yrs developing JD Edwards (XE, 8.12 software), AS/400 exp (RPG); Financial, Distribution, Maintenance modules. SUMMARY: The JD Edwards Developer provides ongoing application support for primary business systems (financial, Distribution, Maintenance) and user needs. This person needs to have solid JDE experience as there is no time for a learning curve. RESPONSIBILITIES: -Performs coding and development of Financial, Distribution, Maintenance modules -Installs program enhancements to existing systems in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne) -Develops new applications and works with user groups to clarify requirements -Competency in all programming phases: development, unit testing, system testing, and implementation -Interfaces with tech support groups during implementation phases of projects -Provides nightly production support when scheduled -Documents systems and develops test plans -Provides ad hoc reporting and assists in systems production support -Exp with Financial, Distribution, Maintenance modules;
Qualifications: QUALIFICATIONS: -Bachelor's degree in CS preferred, or equivalent exp -5+ yrs overall IT exp including JD Edwards -5+ yrs exp with AS/400, -Exp with JD Edwards E1 Software -Familiarity with reporting tools (Showcase, Query/400, SQL/400) and relational DB concepts -Strong verbal, written & interpersonal communication skills.
