Our client, a large US coal company, is seeking qualified Land Agents to support their mine operations in Marion, IL.
Land Agent - 2
These positions will be working with the Land Department for a mining operation. The qualified candidates will be responsible for the acquisition of land, establish values, reviews and negotiates terms, prepares and submits reports, contracts, and deeds, and prepares transaction for closing. Work is generally subject to review on terms and final agreement.
Qualified Candidates Will Possess:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
5+ years experience in land acquisition and sales in mining industry would be a plus
Must have good negotiation skills and an understanding of the real estate market
Real estate license generally desired; general understanding of real estate principles and laws required
The position offers a competitive compensation of $60k - $70K depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
