Eldorado Gold Corporation (AMEX, TSX) is a Vancouver-based, Canadian gold mining company actively growing businesses in Brazil, Turkey, China and the surrounding regions. The Company is financially strong and is actively developing projects and plans to continue its successful growth through both exploration and accretive acquisitions. EGC is currently hiring in a number of positions, including a Business Development Analyst. The successful candidate will work closely with Senior Management to evaluate opportunities that will grow the Company through the acquisition of low cost and long lived mining assets.

Reporting to EGC’s Manager, Business Development, your principal challenge will be to skillfully evaluate potential corporate transactions. You will work with department heads, business units and external consultants and advisors in implementing the highest standards of practices gathering research materials and preparing summary reports and recommendations for Senior Management and the Board of Directors. The successful candidate will exhibit strong analytical and organizational skills, be self-motivated, capable of working independently and within a team. A mining or metallurgical engineering degree with three to six years of experience in the mining industry, preferably in engineering, consulting or operations are requirements of the position. An MBA and foreign language skills are desirable, but not essential to the position.
An appropriately attractive compensation package awaits the successful candidate. The successful candidate will be based in Vancouver and be willing and able to travel.
