Requirements:
To be considered for this opportunity, you are a designated accountant (CA/CGA/CMA) with a solid background in mining, public company reporting and proven supervisory experience. These skills and experience are essential for this role. You are able to hands-on, proactive and have very good communication skills to be able to work in this tight-knit organization. Strong excel skills will be a big asset.
Description:
Do you have proven public company reporting experience with a mining company? Our mining client is searching for an interim Controller for a short assignment. Reporting to the CFO, you will be managing a team of 3 and have a variety of responsibilities associated with being a Controller in a publicly traded mining company. You will also be in charge a managing a quarter-end and drafting the notes to the financial statements as well as the company MD&A. There will be other ad hoc assignments that will be delegated from time to time.
