They are now seeking an experienced and business savvy individual to join their team at Port Pirie, in rural South Australia, in a key Contracts and Purchasing role.
Your key accountabilities will include:
? Source materials and prepare agreements to meet site needs
? Ensure purchasing meets compliance with site standards
? Build on new and existing supplier relationships
? Be a champion of change
? Provide advice on agreement strategies
? Maintain the supplier database
? Assist the company to achieve safety, environmental, quality and production targets
Ideally you will have demonstrated experience in purchasing and contract management, with well developed negotiation skills and sound contractor exposure. You will be a motivated self starter with strong business acumen and have the ability to work across site with a diverse range of goods and services. You are an excellent communicator with skills to build rapport quickly and influence a range of key stakeholders.
