PURPOSE
The Maintenance Supervisor is a member of a multidiscipline operations team, reporting to the OIM or Plant Manager. The main purpose of the position is to provide operational and maintenance supervision at the facility and to support reliability and integrity management strategies. The role also leads the maintenance team and provides direction, which includes prioritization and resource loading. The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that maintenance systems, including safety critical equipment, are operated safely and efficiently while maximizing production and achieving performance targets. This position requires the integration of a range of operations, HSEC, regulatory, and maintenance knowledge and experience to effectively lead the onshore maintenance team.

¡¤ Supervise the maintenance team; plan and schedule all maintenance activities utilizing 1SAP to meet planning objectives
¡¤ Ensure all activities are performed safely and within relevant requirements and company HSEC and operational standards
¡¤ Ensure maintenance team is fully competent and adequate personnel are available for daily maintenance tasks and repairs
¡¤ Assist management in developing the maintenance component of the annual budget and manage controllable expenditures at the facility
¡¤ Engage with other operating disciplines, including planners, to coordinate facility activities

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
HSEC Responsibilities
¡¤ Lead HSEC initiatives at site and ensure maintenance team support
¡¤ Ensure all HSEC and facility©related risks are identified and mitigated in a timely and efficient manner; promote a risk©based approach to maintenance and operations
¡¤ Ensure all maintenance and integrity management activities are in compliance with legislation, the facility HSE Case, ISO 14001 and company HSEC management systems
Ensure that all 3rd party activities are conducted in compliance with company HSEC management
standards
¡¤ Ensure the safety of personnel and integrity of facilities at all times; engage in training exercises for Simultaneous
Operations and Emergency Response
¡¤ Support and lead facility HSEC meetings as required
Operational Responsibilities
¡¤ Ensure maintenance activities on the facilities deliver safe, mechanically sound and optimal equipment condition and performance
¡¤ Coordinate daily activities with the production team, minimizing production impact
¡¤ Champion the 1SAP CMMS and analyze reports to maximize equipment reliability
¡¤ Ensure all maintenance procedures are up to date and implemented
¡¤ Liaise with the Materials Coordinator in relation to forward planning and determination of levels of spares and maintenance consumables on the facilities
¡¤ Supervise ongoing development, updating and implementation of maintenance©related operational procedures and work instructions
¡¤ Administer all technical documentation including key drawings, maintenance manuals and technical journals
¡¤ Administer, prepare and coordinate maintenance©related mandatory BHP Billiton Petroleum and legislative reports
¡¤ Monitor backlog for the maintenance function and implement suitable strategies to ensure it remains within acceptable levels
¡¤ Support the training and competency development of line employees to ensure roles and responsibilities are clearly defined and understood
¡¤ Coordinate and supervise the quantities, storage and quality control and bunkering/transfer of all fuels, lubricants, maintenance consumables, tools and spares
¡¤ Authorize the purchase and provision of materials, equipment and services
¡¤ Ensure all safety and emergency response equipment is in a state of constant readiness
¡¤ Supervise and coordinate the evaluation of machinery operation and condition through maintenance inspection and testing, as well as Critical Function Testing
¡¤ Ensure all unsafe equipment is taken out of service in a timely manner
¡¤ Provide guidance and supervision during shutdown/turnaround activities
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications
¡¤ High School, Technician's Diploma or GED required. College or Technical School Degree preferred.
Experience and Technical Competencies
¡¤ At least 8 years experience in production operations on oil and gas facilities required
¡¤ Experience in all aspects of maintenance and integrity management on oil and gas process equipment, including rotating equipment, safety systems, electrical, instrumentation and control systems required
¡¤ Strong health, safety, environmental and regulatory compliance required
¡¤ Working knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems preferred required
1SAP experience preferred
¡¤ Experience in operational reporting, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and production optimization preferred
¡¤ Experience in simultaneous operations involving production, drilling, maintenance, marine and construction activities preferred
