Our client, one of the world’s leading providers of engineering and construction services are currently recruiting an Quality Control Manager for a major Iron Ore expansion project in the Former Soviet Union. You will be responsible for developing and implementing Quality Assurance / control procedures for the Project.

Your key accountabilities will be:

Developing quality control requirements for inclusion into construction execution contracts

• Develop staffing plan to manage project quality requirements.

• Ensure project personnel are suitably trained in project plan requirements and procedures.

• Ensure effective planning and implementation of design control, verification, validation and review activities.

• Effective implementation and coordination of vendor assessment and inspection activities.

• Effective implementation and verification of construction inspection and testing activities.

• Effective implementation of non-conformance, corrective action and preventative action management processes.

You will need:

Russian language skills will be a distinct advantage

• Degree or equivalent Higher Diploma.

• Ideally 10+ years experience in Contracts Administration on major projects. Able to communicate effectively with clients, alliance partners and peers. Good leadership and coaching skills working in a multi-cultural environment

This role will be required for the 4 year lifespan of the project on a fly in fly out basis with 6 weeks on/ 2 weeks off roster and an excellent ex-pat package.
