General hand

* Opportunity to Progress!

Our client requires a General Hand for their Mt Isa operations. Initially working a minimum four hours per day with the flexibility to be on standby the successful candidate has the opportunity to progress within the company to a fulltime position.

Role includes:

* Attending shift change meetings
* Pickup & delivery of equipment, PPE and any other items required by shift supervisor in a company vehicle
* Performing general errands as requested
* And flexibility to be on standby outside ordinary hours

To be considered you:

* Will be a resident of Mt Isa or immediate district
* Must be able to work in an underground environment
* Hold an open QLD Drivers Licence
* Have a current Xstrata Induction & Medical
* Possess current Surface & Underground Metalliferous Inductions
* Must be flexible to work odd hours
* And the ability to work as part of a Team
