Due to outstanding growth our client is seeking to appoint a number of Mechanical Engineers with various degrees of experience to their dynamic Perth based teams.

You will need to have had experience within the Mining sector 8-15 years + exp Bulk materials handling (Alloy Piping, Pressure Vessels, Conveyors, Hoppers, Bins, Chutework), Pumps and tanks.

The scope of work will include some or all of the following dependent upon experience.

Mechanical engineering design of process plants as part of a multi-disciplined design team;
Mechanical engineering design of materials handling systems;
Mechanical engineering design of pumping and piping systems
Preparation of technical specifications and evaluations of mechanical process equipment;
Selection of materials of construction of piping and plate work systems;
Checking and review of design calculations, specifications, design criteria, reports and estimates produced by other Mechanical Engineers;
Ensuring that mechanical engineering designs produced by the company are efficient, safe, cost effective, innovative and meet the needs of the client and project;
Provision of technical assistance to design drafters involved in the preparation of the project design drawings;
Review and approval of project design drawings;
Preparation of feasibility studies for process plants;
Development of engineering designs from process test work and pilot plant data;
Liaison with other engineering disciplines during the preparation of engineering designs and feasibility studies;
Preparation of capital cost estimates for projects and feasibility studies;
You will have excellent interpersonal, organisational, written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
