The company
Our client is a leading supplier of Industrial Automation software and integration services to OEM'S, systems Integrators and end users in the Australian market. The majority of their work is being won in the mining, water, manufacturing and utilities sectors at this point in time. With offices all over Australia and the world they are one of the most respected companies in the industry. Due to a recent corporate restructure that has opened up better career planning options and the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across the country, this company is currently they are looking to employ a proven SCADA, MES Senior Engineer based in Melbourne to join their professional services division.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Senior Project manager in Melbourne your role will be to understand the scope of the project, assist in planning, implementing the solutions, site supervision and onsite project work when required. You will also be expected to provide timely reporting to the project manager in an accurate and timely fashion and your expertise will be called in by management to improve engineering capabilities and processes. This is a rare chance to get in at the ground level of a company that is only just reaching full stride in the MES market place. You will receive ongoing training, be given the opportunity to travel across Australia and work with a highly professional and close knit engineering team.
Selection Criteria
To be successful in your application for this exceptional opportunity you must have a minimum of 3 years electrical engineering experience in the MES ? SCADA space. You will possess a tertiary engineering qualification. You are well versed in the implementation of commissioning, programming and benefits of combined MES ? Database applications and the value they can add to exisitng SCADA ? PLC systems. Candidates who are autonomous, have the ability to manage small projects and have the potential for growth and extra responsibility will be highly regarded.
Remuneration for this role will include:
$100K Package (Neg)
Ongoing training
Tools of trade - Laptop and contribution to mobile phone bill
