This client seeks a safety conscious Track Supervisor to manage the construction verification phase of a major infrastructure expansion program in Sydney. This role will suit either a very experienced supervisor or a superintendent.

Reporting to the project manager minor works. With supervisors, leading hands and track workers all under the superintendents jurisdiction the incumbent will also play an active part in the planning process and will work closely with the project engineers and project management to ensure that all aspects of the project is delivered effectively.

Key responsibilities of this role as follows:

Ensure compliance with PQP, OH S, Environmental and Railway legislation requirements.
Recruitment of skilled/capable workforce.
Review and sign off work records and timesheets.
Plan site project works for labour, materials and plant.
Responsible for on the job training and wages staff induction.
Prepare JSA's in conjunction with integrated systems Coordinator.
Control the activities of the direct labour and subcontractors to ensure co-ordination of the construction process and targets.
Completion of the works on programme and on, or better than, budget.
Manage safety to achieve nil accident objectives.
