Summary Description of Duties: Will be responsible for maintaining and repairing on and off road mining equipment.
Qualifications: Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in mining related heavy equipment maintenance. A working knowledge of manuals, schematics and diagnostic tools preferred. Should have a thorough understanding of A/C, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting. Must possess a strong work ethic, positive attitude, with an ability to motivate and work in a team environment. Own hand tools required. Must have excellent safety habits, be safety conscious and display safe work practices. Knowledge of Caterpillar software/diagnostic tools (VIMS, TPMS, ET) preferred, with preference given to those individuals possessing knowledge regarding the following equipment: 785 Caterpillar haul trucks 789 Caterpillar haul trucks 992 Caterpillar front end loaders 994 Caterpillar front end loaders EX3500 Hitachi front shovels EX3600 Hitachi front shovels D4C, D10N, D10R track dozers Caperpillar 16H Graders DM45 Ingersoll drills A valid driver’s license is also required. Must be presently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
