This leading engineering consultancy pride themselves on a global presence and local knowledge. With an ever expanding profile in the market they are currently seeking a Traffic Engineer for their Transportation division.

Candidates will develop a broad understanding of traffic engineering with public transport experience such as buses, metro, trams and cycleways a potential focus.

This will include: general traffic engineering, junction modelling and developing & appraising traffic engineering solutions. In a significant role that will provide guidance to the Highways teams, Technical Directors & Associates within the Transportation Sector, advising disciplines on traffic engineering matters.

Candidates must ideally possess local traffic engineering experience including:

Junction modelling experience using TRANSYT, Linsig, ARCADY PICADY
Traffic signal design pelican crossing & bus priority modelling
Knowledge of grade-separated and at-grade junction design to DMRB
Design and appraisal of local traffic management schemes (incl shared space; priority lanes).
Pedestrian modelling
