Working with a vast network of like-minded people, our client specializes in delivering integrated expertise in virtually every aspect of design, project delivery and facilities management within the transport, water, environment, power, and mining and resources sectors.

We are currently seeking experienced Roads Engineers to assist infrastructure clients, the primary objectives of the role are:
Assist infrastructure clients to achieve their program or project delivery objectives by providing value adding advice and management services, particularly in all areas of:
- Program & Project Management
- Risk Management
- Cost Planning & Estimating
- Design & Design Management
- Traffic & Transport
- Intelligent Transport Systems
- Asset Management

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide leadership to staff within the team through project work and professional development opportunities
Creates a highly committed team environment
Be the primary point of contact for clients including participating with Client in identifying and managing organisational, commercial and project risk.
Coordinates client contacts, including major correspondence between your company and the Client, and maintains working relationships at all levels throughout the period of the project
Monitors and controls all contractual commitments to assure that all work is being performed in accordance with the brief, specifications, drawings, terms of the contract and Client expectations
Develops a detailed schedule, scope of services, estimate and risk model, and drives the project with these tools.
Assist in the professional development of the team in alignment with the needs of the Business Unit
Qualifications & Experience

Essential

University degree in Civil Engineering or other relevant discipline Membership of Institution of Engineers, Australia
Significant experience in professional experience with substantial experience in the procurement and delivery requirements for road & transport infrastructure projects
A strong client focus and relationship building with stakeholders
Strong leadership and management skills and abilities including excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to operate independently or in a team environment
Developed negotiation, contractual and commercial skills
Experience in project management, risk management, cost estimation and project control systems
