This high-responsibility position will see you responsible for the maintenance, design, installation and commissioning of DCS, PLCs (Allen-Bradley, GE Fanuc), telemetry and power generation systems. Working for a complex mineral processing plant, you'll be designing and commissioning HV and LV motor control for soft starters and VSDs, as well as Scada HMI systems. You'll be managing a small team of electrical and control systems engineers and technicians, and working closely with senior management on an upcoming $50 million site expansion project. The role is residential in a large town, so ideal for those who are needing to be at home with their families every night and are wanting a few choices of schooling for their children. Additionally, it is close to the sea and the climate is temperate. The company offers all the perks you would expect for a premier mining organisation, in addition to a likely promotion to superintendent within the next eighteen months. To progress to interview, you must have a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering and at least eight years experience in mining or heavy industry. You need to be familiar with a broad range of control systems, including Allen-Bradley and Citect Scada.
