Our prestigious global client in the Mining industry is currently looking for apassionate, relationship-driven and energetic Mine Accountant to join its talented and stable Commercial Team.

This is an exciting,fast paced and dynamic role and will see you based on-site managing a large portfolio ofbusiness critical projects. You will be expected to build strong customer relationships and work effectively as a member of the commercial team.

Key accountabilities include:

The preparation of Regulatory and Internal Reporting Requirements,
Month End Results,
Costing Analysis,
Forecasting
Budgeting

Additionally:

You will undertake the reconciliation process and compliance activities including participation in internal and external audit activities and resolution of items
You will assist with query resolution as appropriate with site department leaders and their teams on business projects

Your technical strengths will be complemented by excellent communication skills, allowing you to work collaboratively with people at all levels of the organisation. With an eye for detail and strong time management skills, you perform well under pressure to achieve deadlines and reporting requirements.

Experience in all aspects offinancial accounting, budgeting, costing, analysis and joint venture reporting will be highly regarded.

The succesful applicant will be:

Tertiary qualified, with significant industry or CPA/CA accounting experience
Proficient with Microsoft Office products (especially Excel)
Proficiency in integrated systems is desirable
