Our client is a leading consultancy that provides high quality engineering support to the upstream oil & gas industry. Its success in the UK has resulted in rapid growth with offices in some of the oil industries main business centres around the globe. The company's services span all phases of project/asset lifecycle, including Field Development Planning, Conceptual/Feasibility, FEED, Detailed Design, Procurement, Construction Support & Commissioning through to Operations Support. Its Perth business continues to enjoy considerable growth and is now seeking a competent Naval Architect to join its team.

In this role you will identify and liaise with leading oil & gas companies with regards to upstream oil & gas needs, develop the brief and oversee specific design elements with regards to offshore platforms and subsea equipment. Your naval architecture skills will come to the fore as you play a key role in advising on the most effective layout to achieve the clients' needs.

A seasoned Naval Architect you come from oil & gas, shipbuilding or an alternative "sea-based" industry and have a solid grasp of layout and detailed design of offshore facilities and systems. This role will work with a team of Design Engineers and as such, sound communication, attention to detail, knowledge of design and simulation software as well as the ability to achieve project deliverables are a key.
