We are currently seeking Civil/Structural Engineers withBridge design experience to work with the Civil businessunit of our Brisbane office, servicing clients in the Mining,Industrial and Public Infrastructure markets. Projects willinclude roads, bridges, tunnels and all other Civil/Structuralrelated designs.
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for preparation of design calculations, specifications and technical review of civil works associated with various small and large projects
Prepare engineering consultancy deliverables required by project briefs, to the required technical and professional standards as directed by the company
Conduct investigations, prepare reports/technical specifications, designs, and contract documents
Possess excellent technical design skills in many facets of Civil and Structural Engineering design
Qualifications & Experience
Civil/Structural Engineering degree
Engineering experience with engineering contracting or consultancy organisations in the mining/resource development or minerals processing industry
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good general computer literacy
A proven background of resourcefulness under pressure
Sound Knowledge of Australian Codes and Standards
Must have detailed design knowledge of civil & structural design software packages
Professional Engineer and CPEng registration preferred
