Our Client provides mining operations and civil infrastructure project services throughout Australia and is one of Queensland’s largest privately owned companies with five regional offices and a workforce of some 1800 people across the state.

They are currently seeking a Motivated Project Manager to be based in Gladstone. This role is a permanent position directly reporting to the Area Manager – Civil.

Primary Duties and responsibilities include:

Ensure activities are carried out in accordance with: Client Specifications for Safety, Environment, Quality and technical aspects
*
Monitor and report on Project’s performance to ensure maximum profits are achieved
*
Ensure project resources (personnel, equipment) are available to achieve construction schedules
*
Provide effective Leadership and direction to the Project Team to ensure activities facilitate the achievement of project goals and objectives
*
Liaise with Client representatives, and other offsite suppliers and Staff to ensure effective communication across the Site and organisation
*
To plan future sustainability of the Project

Qualification and Experience required

*
Engineering Degree desirable
*
5 years in the Civil Industry Desirable
*
Project Management experience highly desirable
