Our client operates one of the largest manganese mines in the world, and is currently seeking a Business Excellence Coach. Located on one of Australia’s largest islands, employees have access to excellent sporting and recreational facilities.
Reporting to the Master Six Sigma Black Belt, you will be responsible for the planning, management and delivery of measurable improvements through the Business Excellence program throughout the asset.
Other key responsibilities include:
* Contribute to measurable business improvements through cost savings, growing revenue and improving safety and environment performance
* Teamwork and mentoring of team leaders
* Develop employee’s understanding and acceptance of Business Excellence (BE)
* Establish and maintain an effective network with BE Coaches, Champions, Sponsors and other BE personnel within the company
* Support cross department/site/asset BE projects
* Participate in the development of strategic plan formulation
As a Business Excellence Coach, you will actively contribute to improving the business through the use of BE tools and methodologies to improve our client’s financial margin. In addition, implementing and facilitating the use of BE tools and methodologies across our clients operation and in their workplaces.
To be considered you should posses:
* Tertiary qualified with high business and commercial acumen skills
* Minimum 5 years background industrial experience, preferably in mining and mineral processing
* Accredited as BE Black Belt Coach or in the process of accreditation
* Experience in project work preferred
* Effective communication skills
* Self motivated, self starter
