This role reports to the current Director Project Services Group, Asia- Pacific
The main duties will include;
Applying scheduling principals & practices as required for assigned projects. Prepare & maintain a master schedule for all activities for the design & construction of multi discipline projects during project execution.
Where necessary liaise with client &/or other participating parties to ensure programmes are integrated with programme master schedules.
Perform baseline schedule maintenance, control & forecasting by obtaining activity status from responsible individuals, updating schedule with status, reviewing & performing analysis of schedule progress.
Participation in the identification & tracking of changes or potential changes to the project schedule, ensuring estimates of schedule impact are given visibility & in a timely manner to the client & project management.
Review schedule progress with project team, identifying performance trends.
Ability to focus on proactive, forward thinking analysis & schedule metrics in order to provide advance notification of potential problems & assist in identifying recommended solutions before problem is realised.
Run schedule risk analysis, identify schedule critical path, assemble data for trending & forecasting including written analysis, provide management team & clients with clear, timely & accurate information relating to schedule & resourcing issues and provide analysis of schedule trend information in accordance with project procedures.
To be considered you must be competent in the use of Primavera & other planning products such as MS Project and have the necessary qualifications required of a Member of Engineers Australia or AIPM Qualifications
Minimum 3 - 5 years experience in program / project controls work including scheduling, reporting or equivalent experience in a project delivery environment
Proven ability & understanding of operations for project planning associated with all project phases of engineering design, procurement, construction & management for the successful delivery of medium value programmes.
