Our client is a leading engineering consultancy with a track record of success in the provision of engineering, procurement and construction management services (EPCM) to the mining and energy sectors.
They are seeking a Mechanical Engineer for their project team working on one of the largest resource developments in Australia. This is an exciting role which offers an exceptional package, long term career prospects and the opportunity to work on a new project.
Your key accountabilities will be:
* Provide leadership, as required, for the execution of mechanical engineering aspects of the project;
* Mechanical design of systems, including bulk materials handling, processing equipment, piping and rotating machinery, in accordance with the relevant Australian Standards;
* Prepare Scope of Work Documentation; and
* Producing design deliverables and quality assurance of colleagues’ designs as required.
You will need:
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering;
* Previous experience on large client focused international, multi discipline projects in the Minerals and Metals Industry with 5 to 6 years conceptual, front end and detailed engineering design experience; and
* Effective communication and team leadership skills.
