Your major functions will include:-
• Review and analyse previous days mining, crushing, grade and RC drilling data.
• Reviewing grade estimation with the Senior and Mine Geologists
• Reviewing ore delineation with the Mine Geologists.
• Attending and reviewing mine planning meetings
• Completing schedule models.
• Completing and reviewing reconciliations of DOM, GC Pod, Reserve and Schedule models.
Your Essential Personal Qualifications:-
• Bachelor Degree in Geology
• Surface and underground mine geology experience
• Knowledge of surface and underground mining techniques and practices
• Previous management skills with a large multidisciplinary workforce
• Experience with RC drilling techniques and contract supervision
• Competent knowledge and experience in sampling, block modelling and advanced grade estimation techniques
• Understanding of alteration mineralogy and structural geology in gold deposits
