Details:From humble beginnings in mid 2004 working for a single exploration company, our client a rapidly growing drilling service provider, now employs over 110 workers and owns and operates 16 rigs. Their operations have expanded from Mongolia to now include China and Kazakhstan.
Due to this rapid expansion, they are seeking applicants for the role of Directional Drilling Engineer to develop and implement their Drilling Engineering program.
Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for;
Developing, implementing and overall management of the Directional Drilling Program
Business development initiatives and continuous improvement of the program
Design and implement key project communication programs
Advising clients of the best operational methods
This role is offered on an FIFO 8 week on / 4 week off roster from your point of hire. Salary packages and other expatriate benefits will be negotiated with the successful candidate at interview.
To be considered for the role you will require:
A university degree in a mining or related discipline
Prior experience in drilling engineering industry communications
Strong client management / liaison skills
Competency in the use of AutoCAD, spectrometers & oil and gas detection instruments
Excellent leadership and people skills
Applicants with previous experience in the Central Asian region will be highly regarded.
