Senior Project Engineer

Throughout Queensland and NSW, this ever growing civil/construction contractor has been successfully operating for 20 years, constructing roads and bridges, heavy industry infrastructure and commercial facilities. They are a BRW Top 500 Private Company.

Their latest success has seen them win a significant transport project in the Sydney region, and this has created a position for a Senior Project Engineer.

In this role you will be coordinating on site construction engineering functions for a rail freight line project to achieve project time and budget objectives and provide sufficient support for construction activities.

Your key result areas will be in construction programming, project safety, insurance claims, risk management, quality assurance, stakeholder relationships.

Must Haves:

Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or its equivalent;
Intermediate to advanced computer literacy;
Ability to formulate/prepare contractual claims and variations;
Detailed knowledge of head and subcontract agreement pertaining to specific project;
Ability to develop and implement a budget and forecasts.
