Kinetic Engineering Recruitment is a Leading Supplier of recruitment solutions to the Rail Sector in Australia. As a partner with some of the largest Rail projects in Australia, we are currently seeking Structural Engineer.

Our client is a leading provider of consulting services in Australia and being as such, has to access to some of the leading projects in the market at the moment. This role will be based in the heart of the Sydney CBD; plenty of lunch time eateries and afterwork entertainment options. International travel opportunities are also available in this role.

The role includes but is not limited to;
Provide design services and undertake calculations in the following areas, using classical and/or
Finite Element Methods (MSC/ANSYS)as required:
Structural and mechanical design and analyses,
Shock and vibration design and analyses, and
Structural support for the design of jigs and fixtures.
Provide other functional groups with technical guidance to ensure design satisfies requirements and applicable standards.

Your skill set should include

This role will require a relevant engineering degree (Mechanical, Mechatronic, Aeronautical),
3 Years minimum relevant experience in Rolling Stock/Rail Vehicle design (Heavy Industry, experience will also be considered),
Strong working knowledge of Finite Element Analysis or Fatigue Analysis (MSC/ANSYS),
Design modelling experience (esp. Catia, Unigraphics) will be highly regarded,
Ability to manage project and people
