Kinetic Engineering Recruitment is a leading supplier of engineering recruitment solutions to the Rail Sector. As a partner with some of the largest Rail projects in Australia, we are currently seeking a Rolling Stock Engineer for a large, ongoing project.

An exciting opportunity has opened up to work for one of the top rail companies in Australia. This company truly is a Market leader and the position on offer as a Rolling Stock Engineer is exceptional. This company will offer you the environment to progress your career, whilst working on an exciting, Front End project within railway rolling-stock.

This role involves:

Preparation of modification packages for submission to Customer and management of the approval process for trial on configuration change.
Lead application and validation of the first modifications applied to the train and prepare technical reports.
Lead application of validated modification on the fleet.
Assist the validation of first train and conduct routine commissioning of all trains.
Participate in customer acceptance testing as required.
Support investigations and functional validation tests under the request of the project manager and design department.
Write and log non conformance report and dispatch of equipment to be repaired.
Take part in the collection of reliability data.
Work closely with participating units and subsystem suppliers to collect all technical information required for modification and commissioning.
Your skills and experience should include;

Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical)
Experience with rolling stock systems experience in commissioning and or modification of Rollingstock.
Hands-on Engineering experience
Competent in developing validation/testing procedures and reports.
Ability to interface with customer representatives and manage suppliers.
Autonomy and reactivity and skills to prioritise the problems in front of the environmental constraints (contractual commitment, facilities available, quality standards
This is a large project so you will be working as part of a team which means communication skills are essential.
