Kinetic Recruitment is a Leading Supplier of recruitment solutions to the Rail Sector. As a partner with one of the largest Rail organisations in Australia, we are urgently seeking you expertise as a Project Manager.

The purpose of the role is to define and design a security business model in line with our client's corporate and security strategies. The role involves working closely with the General Managers from other Business Groups.

The role;
Work as a project manager within the Security Division to manage the delivery of a significant strategic initiative
Project manage the delivery of a strategic initiative and ensure delivery is to agreed budget, standards and timeframe
Coordinate the resourcing and delivery of the project work-stream and ensure delivery is to agreed budget, standards and timeframe
Provide regular and timely status reports on the progress of the project
Build strong relationships with project stakeholders and integrate stakeholders into the communication and change management aspects of the project
Act as coach and mentor for project team members and provide guidance on emerging issues, project delivery and project priorities
You require;

Relevant tertiary qualifications - economics, commerce, business, engineering or related analytical discipline
At least 5 years experience as a project manager
Strong quantitative analysis, problem solving and research skills
Proven ability to develop business cases, project briefs, project plans and proposals for work, including gathering requirements and making estimates of resources, time and cost
Strong conceptual and strategic planning abilities, specifically within a large commercial operation
Financial literacy to forecast and manage project budgets
Experience in the security/policing disciplines is desirable
Strong consulting and relationship building skills

This role will be offered as an initial 6 month contract with view for further extensions as the project progresses.
