An immediate opening exists in the Geology Department of New Enterprise Stone & Lime Co., Inc. for a Geologist/Mining Technician. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years experience working in exploration, mine permitting, operations and reclamation. This position will require fieldwork to maintain mine permits, monitor drilling and blasting, and supervise the water monitoring program as well as assisting in mine planning and other administrative tasks. A Bachelor's Degree in Geology, Mining Engineering or related science is required. New Enterprise Stone & Lime Co., Inc. offers competitive pay and excellent benefits to the successful candidate. New Enterprise Stone & Lime Co., Inc. has an opening for a Quality Control Technician for the Blair/Bedford/Somerset County area: This position requires a minimum of 2-year experience, strong communication and people skills as well as self-confidence. Current PA DOT certification in concrete, aggregate and/or bituminous products required. A 2-year degree, Maryland and West Virginia certifications, and experience with a Nuclear Density gauge are all preferred, but not required.
