About our client
Our client is a results-focused consultancy providing Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) services to the mining, minerals and energy resource sectors. The Rail division in the Perth office is currently undertaking a number of projects with some of Western Australia's major mining and resources clients. Due to the quick progression on projects they currently have requirements for a Civil Inspector.

About this position
Working on a large rail project located in the Pilbara region, the Civil Inspector will work closely with the Construction Manager to inspect and supervise the major civil and earthworks activities on the project. You will also be involved in the management of various procedures, work practices, plans, and protocols to ensure the site team works efficiently and maintains a consistent approach to providing a high standard of work. You will also ensure safety, environmental, and quality plans and procedures are adhered to. This role is FIFO with rotations being 23 days on, 5 days off or 11 days on, 3 days off.

The successful candidate
To be successful in this role you will have a strong civil and bulk earthworks background and have recently worked in a similar role. As this is a key position on the project, you will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and negotiation skills and an ability to liaise across a number of departments.
