CONTRACT SUPPORT OFFICER

We are in search for a person with experience in tendering of major construction projects.

- Duration: 10 Months
- Location: Pitt Street, CBD.

Primary Accountability.
Develop, negotiate and award contracts for the supply of goods, materials and services in accordance with best industry practice.

Identifying and understanding issues and resolving it effectively and efficiently.

Working with internal and external partners and developing a good business relationship to meet the organizational goals.

Maintaining effectiveness when experiencing major changes in work.

Taking prompt action to accomplish objectives.

Conflict management:
Dealing effectively with others in an antagonistic situation.

Experience:

Qualification in supply management/commerce/engineering or equivalent.
Experience in development, negotiation and awarding of supply contracts at a senior level.
Knowledge and understanding of public sector, organizations procurement policies, risk management strategiesincluding ethical and probability issues.
Knowledge and understanding of contract law, tendering and contracting processes.
