Control Systems Engineer

Responsible for projects and maintenance of control systems at this mine site, You'll be doing everything from design through to commissioning on projects up to $1 million, such as the development of a PLC program for an underground pumping station with multiple pumps; the development of a Scada and PLC program to transfer grey water from the Water Corp to site; and PLC and telemetry programming to monitor water transfer and leak detection from bore fields to the plant. You'll also do electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting, and be involved in site expansion projects. In this role, you will be under the supervision of the Senior Control Systems Engineer, so you will be able to receive appropriate technical support and mentorship. The plant is modern and up-to-date, with a good safety record, and it's located in a town that is more than just a roadhouse and a few dusty dongas. To be considered for the position, a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering and at least three years experience in a top-tier mining house, are required.
