Contracts Administrator / Cost Controller

CCL has been requested by a leading Oil & Gas Energy company to provide a Contracts Administrator / Cost Controller to carry out all contract administration tasks including preparation of SAP requests and perform contract cost control, reporting to Project Services / Site Coordinator. After initial period in London, position will be based in Paris or Singapore at contractor locations during project engineering / fabrication phases, and then based at construction site in Kazakhstan during fabrication, installation and commissioning phases. Contract duration of 1 year (renewable). Excellent daily rates / living allowances.
Engineering or technical degree. Good technical, interpersonal and team-working skills. Professional membership in a relevant institute. Fluent in both written and spoken English. Extensive knowledge of computer cost based tools (SAP). Knowledge of Microsoft Suite. Familiarity with cost probabilistic and associated software. Working knowledge of all relevant discipline codes and standards.
Minimum of 10 years of working experience in oil & gas industry, with a track record in contracts administration and cost control. Experience in the same role on major projects with major contracts. Experienced in multi-discipline interaction and co-ordination. Familiarity with both project and corporate contract administration and cost control procedures, operating aspects of offshore operations and onshore installations, Contract Administration, Cost Control and Reporting requirements. Ability to identify, analyse and resolve complex technical / contractual problems. Proactive approach to decisional process (in the pertinent discipline). Full understanding of HSE importance in planning and executing projects. Proactive approach to HSE issues and process safety / hazard management.
