ASX listed Apex Minerals NL (ASX Code: AXM) is re-developing the Wiluna Operation and developing a new underground mine at Wilsons. Apex Minerals Ltd is currently recruiting staff to achieve this.
The Wiluna Operation is the centre point of Apex’s regional consolidation strategy in Western Australia’s North Eastern Goldfields. The operation will be managed on an owner operator basis with direct employee numbers at Wiluna expected to exceed 250. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work closely and be involved in the redevelopment of the Wiluna and Wilsons Operations. Your commitment to developing and monitoring production schedules and targets and mentoring a safe workforce will be crucial. The successful applicant, holding a Bachelor of Engineering (Mining) or equivalent and with three to five years (3-5) underground experience, will be competent in the use of Surpac and Drilling and Blasting practices. You will be responsible for development and production of a steeply dipping orebody where the quality of mining and attention to detail will be essential.
