Drill Operations Manager Southern China

Residential in Kunming or FIFO
From humble beginnings in mid 2004 working for a single exploration company, our client, a rapidly growing drilling service provider, now employs over 110 workers and owns and operates 16 rigs. Their operations have expanded from Mongolia to now include China and Kazakhstan.
Due to this rapid expansion, they are seeking applicants for the role of Operations Manager who will maintain and oversee all drilling operations and procedures in China.
The role can be based residentially in Kunming or FIFO on a 8 week on / 4 week off roster. Salary packages and other expatriate benefits including relocation will be negotiated with the successful candidate at interview.
To be considered for the role you will require:
10 years supervisory experience in the drilling industry
Previous experience overseeing and managing multiple drilling operations
Knowledge in a range of drilling techniques including; diamond, RC, directional, mud rotary, water bore, RAB and underground
Strong client management / liaison skills
The ability to show initiative and solve problems
Excellent leadership and people skills
Applicants with previous experience in the Central Asian region will be highly regarded.
