Think Opportunity
This is a rare opportunity for you to work in an operations environment in a coastal location. It’s a continuous improvement role where you’ll further develop your technical expertise. You’ll play a key role within a small team of professional engineers making a difference through the delivery of safety and improvement initiatives on site.
Think Purpose
You will provide engineering support to the Operations, Maintenance and Business Development Department at KNR. You will implement projects dedicated to achieving safe, reliable production by increasing capability through innovation, technology and continuous improvement.
Think Requirements
From a technical perspective, you’ll have a solid understanding of key design safety management systems and good technical knowledge of process engineering design parameters and principles. Project management and plant optimisation experience is essential, ideally with exposure to multiple facilities. It’s likely you’ll have a chemicals, minerals processing, petro-chemicals or similar industry background.
As an effective communicator, you’ll interact well with people at all levels and have experience in leading a team. Experience in leading and developing a team of young professionals is needed. You must have tertiary qualifications in process engineering, metallurgy or chemical engineering, and you should have a high level of computer literacy.
