Electrical Supervisor - Concentrator

Reporting to the Fixed Plant and Electrical Maintenance Superintendent, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient electrical maintenance services for the concentrator. This pivotal role will be in support of continuous manganese ore processing operations. The successful applicant will have a proven ability to perform a wide range of electrical maintenance activities, whilst exhibiting a high regard for safety and compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

* Supervision of electrical instrument maintenance personnel
* Electrical maintenance planning and engineering functions including major overhauls and capital projects
* Enhancing plant performance
* Implementation and control of TQE and company polices
* Preparation of budgets and cost reports

Relevant skills and abilities:

* Experience in a similar position within a maintenance or fixed plant environment would be highly regarded as well as qualifications to perform the role requirements.
* A current NT “A” Grade Electrical Licence or the ability to gain this licence prior to commencement.
* Experience in instrumentation, Citect, Modicon and Siemens PLC’s
* It is essential to have bulk handling systems knowledge
* Computer literacy and a background in scheduling and planning using MIMS as well as a knowledge of MS Office software
* A trade qualification will be highly desirable.

GEMCO is looking for a team player, with the capacity to take ownership and assume responsibility for achieving targeted goals.

This position is a residential role 5 on, 2 off day shift roster. At times this role may require the successful applicant to work night shift duties and attend to call outs.
