Great opportunity for a Project Engineer who wants to take the next step in their career as a Civil Estimator.

Our Client is a Roads Contractor which undertakes an enormous variety of design and construction projects including metropolitan and country roads, drainage and pipe works, environmental projects, pavement remediation, sporting tracks, airport tarmacs, runways and residential estate projects for major developers.

They are seeking to employ a project engineer who has had some recent experience with a contractor helping out with estimating and tendering on projects. The role will encompass taking off quantities, contract admin, preparation of bid estimates for new major civil projects, raising of purchase orders, site and cost control and liaison with Project Managers, Clients and sub Contractors.

To be successful in this role you will need to be a team player, able to work autonomously, willing to learn and have exceptional negotiation skills. There will be in-house training for the right candidate. You must be tertiary qualified in civil engineering
