Position Summary
The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelors Degree in Geochemistry, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or Natural Resource Management with practical field experience on active mine sites. The successful candidate will be team oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills. The individual must also possess computer literacy skills with Microsoft Office products.
Primary duties will include:
• Interpretation and review of geochemistry data and models as they pertain to ARD/ML issues for operations and closure
• Assistance with an extensive water quality monitoring program
• Data management
• Supervision of annual erosion control efforts
• Assistance with progressive and closure reclamation work (planning, construction and revegetation efforts).
