This leading, globally diversified precious metals producer has achieved outstanding returns and has mineral reserves of over 90 million ounces and resources of over 250 million ounces! They currently have a vacancy for an Production Engineer to join their experienced management team and assist in the short-medium term co-ordination of the open pit mining. Your core responsibilities will include the following:
Assisting with the production of a monthly rolling schedule for all pit activities
Daily tracking of mining physicals against the budget/forecast/outlook plan
Interrogation and processing of drill & blast, fuel, explosives and other ancilliary costs
You will have a Tertiary Qualification in Mining Engineering, exposure to drill & blast, grade control practises and planning software and a sound working knowledge of all aspects of the mining process.
