The Project Construction Manager will be involved in the planning, tendering and coordination of a newly awarded $100 million dollar HDD Project on the Gorgon LNG Development. The Project Construction Manager is responsible for the scheduling and coordination of all design and construction processes, including the selection, hiring and oversight of trade contractors. As the Project Construction Manager, you will coordinate and supervise the construction process from the conceptual development stage through final construction, making sure that the project gets completed on time and within budget. The Project Construction Manager will also oversee the delivery and use of materials, tools, and equipment; worker productivity and safety; and the quality of construction. Additionally, the incumbent is responsible for obtaining all necessary permits and licenses, and, depending upon the contractual arrangements, directing or monitoring compliance with building and construction codes and any other applicable regulations, and requirements. The Project Construction Manager will have strong interpersonal skills which will allow the development of good working relationships with both the workforce and the client. The Project Construction Manager will report directly to the Project Construction Director assigned to the HDD Program on Barrow Island. The Project Construction Manager will supervise the Site Managers & Supervisors, Project Engineers, Contract Managers and Project administration staff. The Project Construction Manager will have a bachelor’s degree in construction science, construction management or civil engineering, plus relevant work experience, ideally remote location experience. To be successful in this role the Project Construction Manager will possess a high degree of aptitude within the oil and gas sector and have a demonstrable proven track record in delivering successful project outcome in the value range of $100 - $200 million dollars.
