An International Company requires an experienced Port Operations Manager to run a major port in West Africa. The role will involve organising shipping, tugs, stevedoring operations, handling of imports/exports, labour issues, engineering and all associated port requirements. The port is a major oil/gas terminal and operates 24hrs/365 days per year.
The ideal candidate will have had 15 years experience in port management, have a Port Operations qualification and be a fluent French speaker. Additional language skills in Spanish an advantage. The individual will need to be proficient at logistics and organisation as well as having diplomacy skills. The position will be residential with good salary package and return flights to country of origin.
