Maintenance Planner Direct Operational impact

This highly regarded and global mining organisation is currently in full production with plans to increase the output of their resource in the next 2- 5 years. As part of a focus on operational improvement they require an experienced Planner to impact their asset maintenance.

Influence and control long range planning. With a responsibility for the long term maintenance of all of the assets both fixed and mobile, the role requires a Maintenance Planner with significant experience in both Mobile and Fixed plant planning within a mining environment. You will be responsible for the upkeep and use of quality Data to produce estimate across all aspects of maintenance projects. In particular you should have a proven track record of data capture and system maintenance.

You will be solid communicator and have the ability to prepare budgets and work within capital expenditure requirements. An ability to utilise your skill to operate and manage the systems in place and subsequently take this through to long term continuous improvement targets across all maintenance services. Alongside your methodical and organised approach will be a focus on Health & Safety issues and working within a team environment

You will have significant experience in mobile mining equipment and could come from a maintenance supervisory background. You will have gained significant post trade experience with Maintenance management systems in a mining environment. Experience with SAP or Ellipse is preferred.
