This is a well established construction company that has delivered variety of top quality projects in Australia. Their success is due to the high calibre of staff they engage. They are currently seeking an experienced Project Controls Manager to ensure project requirements are met by establishing and executing control plans, schedules and forecasted budgets.

As the Project Controls Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

Ensuring the realization of the project controls infrastructure to include the Work Breakdown Structure, Overall Project Plan, Code of Accounts, Project Estimate, Budgets, Project Schedule and resource requirements for the scope of the project Superintend the performance measurement appraisals on all facets of the project including Engineering, Contracts, Materials and Equipment Procurements and Construction Designing and implementing reports to catalogue areas that may prove problematic to the project and suggest corrective actions Engaging in schedule optimization studies and cost- benefit analyses to establish more time effective practices beneficial to the project Acting as spokesperson for all Project Controls inquiries Assisting projects controls staff in technical and operational functions Developing, interpreting and executing policy, objectives and standards applicable to cost and schedule control and analysis activities Introducing avant-garde methodologies to solve problems in cost engineering and planning/ scheduling Review and approve cost forecasts and draft construction contracts for adequacy and schedule requirements
In order to be considered for this role, you will need to have:

Tertiary engineering qualifications The ability to manage and lead a diverse team of personnel A working knowledge of computerized proprietary cost control systems (P6) Sound experience in the preparation of management reports and provide analysis on base-line incursions The ability to implement cost control measures
