We have two exciting opportunities within a mid-sized mining group. The company operate a number of mines within Western Australia and have commenced a major ramp-up of current activities. They require two Mine Geologists, both roles being offered on a FIFO (Perth) basis.

The roles will report to a Senior Mine Geologist on-site and will work as part of a small production geology team. You will be focused on a specific site, however, there is scope to move within the company to gain exposure to different mining environments.

The main duties will cover the daily supervision of the mining contractor to ensure that production is carried out in accordance with the grade & volume targets. You will also be expected to assist with the collation of data for resource development and should offer some solid understandings with computer software (Surpac). The planning & supervising of some development drilling will also be a component of these positions.

To be considered, it is essential that you offer the following:

Tertiary Qualifications in Geology Recent experience within a production environment - either surface or underground Ability to work on a FIFO roster from Perth (9:5) Some experience with Surpac (or similar software package) Willingness to 'roll up the sleeves' as required
