We are working with one of WA's premier mining operations to secure an experienced Mine Geologist for their underground team. The company provides a highly experienced management group who are committed to providing all staff with comprehensive training & development opportunities. The Mine Geologist - Underground will work on a FIFO roster (9:5) and will form part of the production team working closely with a Senior Mine Geologist. You will take hands-on responsibility for the daily activities, including grade-control, drill planning, contractor supervision, geological interpretation and orebody modelling, in addition to a range of associated duties. The position will require proven experience in a Mine Geologist position and some recent underground exposure will be essential. The ability to tackle the daily challenges presented within a complex underground mine will be required and you should also bring sound computer skills, including some exposure to Surpac (although not essential). You will have the ability to work as part of a small, focused team with a desire to advance to more senior positions in the future.
